Furmint Selection is a collection about creativity, winemaking craftsmanship, and the courage to create something new. And, of course, about how extraordinary a capricious yet highly promising and versatile grape variety can be. Our Furmints are inspired by nature and speak in the voice of terroir.
Furmint Orange is a distinctive dry wine made from the Furmint grape using the skin-contact method — an orange wine, also known as amber or Orange Wine.
Furmint Wild is a dry white wine fermented with wild yeasts, undergoing spontaneous fermentation for four months in oak barrels using a low-intervention approach.

The low-intervention philosophy lets the wine speak for itself, revealing the unique terroir of Zakarpattia and the authenticity of the Furmint grape. In harmony with nature, our winemaker has achieved a complex yet clean aroma and a vibrant, intriguing, and deep flavor.

Aged
An exquisite dry white Furmint wine, aged in oak barrels for nine months. It is one of Château Chizay’s most renowned wines, available to order online. The wine was awarded a Silver Medal at the London Wine Competition 2021.
Furmint Orange
Dry
Special wines created using the ancient winemaking technique called skin-contact. These wines are known as Amber or Orange Wine. White grape wines are produced using the same method as red wines, without separating the juice from the pulp, resulting in an original aromatic and flavor profile. Such wines are considered an elixir of health and youth. Limited edition.
