We trusted nature – and it paid off! Our first wild fermentation wine on indigenous yeasts – Furmint Wild. Crafted using the globally popular low-intervention method, with minimal interference in the winemaking process. It was a synergy of the winemaker’s intuition and experience with nature’s magic. An especially successful Furmint harvest, fermentation on native yeasts found on the grapes themselves, no cultured yeasts, spontaneous fermentation in a new 200-liter barrel, and gentle filtration after 4 months in oak… The result is a multi-layered aroma and refined, deep taste. A complex yet sincere wine that speaks in nature’s voice. A story of our terroir, uniqueness, and harmony.

This light golden wine may seem subtle at first glance, but its shimmer hints at a remarkable experience ahead.
The aroma unfolds gradually and surprises with every breath. It’s a pleasure to discover its delicate and pure nuances, untouched by heavy or overly familiar notes. This wine is definitely not mainstream!
The taste is a multi-layered narrative that gently guides you from sip to sip. It’s light yet textured, revealing the vibrant character of a “wild,” yet very clean wine. Elegant minerality, light acidity, and balance!
Thanks to its character, Furmint Wild pairs beautifully with food. But choose wisely – overly heavy or spicy dishes will overpower the wine’s elegance. Great options include white fish and seafood (grilled or in cream sauces, without spicy seasonings), lean meats (such as lemon rosemary chicken, duck or goose confit, pork tenderloin), and vegetarian dishes. It also pairs wonderfully with classic Ukrainian cuisine: varenyky, deruny, holubtsi, and even borscht. A perfect food pairing idea – Zakarpattia’s signature dish, banosh!
