Furmint Orange – a unique dry wine made from the Furmint grape variety, crafted using an ancient winemaking technique known today as skin-contact (fermenting the juice with the grape skins). In different countries, these wines are called Amber or Orange Wine. Learn more in the ARTICLE. Made from white grapes using a red winemaking method—without separating the juice from the pulp—it develops an original aromatic and flavor profile with elegant astringency. Such wines are considered elixirs of health and youth.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for 3 months on the lees (grape skins and seeds) and then matures in Hungarian oak barrels. This process gives it a golden hue and aromas of ripe fruits and spices.
It features bright acidity, a full body, and a long-lasting finish.
To preserve its fresh aroma and taste, the wine is sealed with a screw cap.
