Chateau Chizay continues its development and, having launched the production of grape spirits and beverages based on them, presents Zakarpattia Brandy.
By creating the Zakarpattia Brandies collection, we are reviving the traditions of strong grape spirits of the region. Our Ukrainian brandies are dedicated to special places and remarkable people.
«Berehove» Brandy, made from spirits aged for four years, is named after the town where the winery is located.
«Palanok» Brandy, crafted according to the VSOP standard, or five «stars», is aged for five years. Its name is dedicated to the legendary castle in the neighboring city of Mukachevo.
The vintage «Mala Hora» Ukrainian Brandy includes spirits aged for at least seven years in the blend. Mala Hora is our beautiful vineyard — the place where everything we create for you is born.
«Olbaum» Ukrainian Brandy, crafted to the XO standard, is made from spirits aged for more than ten years. Respect for roots and the value of authenticity inspired the owner of Chateau Chizay, Hennadii Hutman, to dedicate this brandy to his grandfather, Shandor Olbaum.

Vintage Brandy of Zakarpattia “Mukachevo” is a new chapter in the collection of noble spirits by Chateau Chizay. Crafted using a classical method and aged for over 8 years in oak. It is dedicated to Mukachevo, the place of origin, strength, and inspiration of the founder, marking the city’s anniversary. Limited edition.
Zakarpattia Brandy «Mala Hora» 7*
The history of strong drinks in Ukrainian Zakarpattia region continues! Vintage brandy "Mala Hora" is luxury and harmony, created by craftsmanship and time. The oldest spirit in the blend is 17 years old, with an average aging of 7 years, resulting in a velvety drink with a rich, complex bouquet. This is the taste of Zakarpattia!
Zakarpattia Brandy «Palanok» 5*
Palanok is a legendary castle with a rich history in the nearby city of Mukachevo.
Transcarpathian Palanok Brandy is just as noble and robust as its ancient walls, marking a new chapter in the history of winemaking in the region. It is crafted from grape spirits aged for five years, with additional maturation in barrels that were previously used for Château Chizay wines.
