Sauvignon Blanc is crafted from carefully selected grapes harvested from a small 0.5-hectare vineyard parcel on Mala Hora. We chose this site because it allows Sauvignon Blanc to express its varietal character at its finest. Intentionally low yields, following the principle of “one vine – one bottle,” combined with hand harvesting and meticulous grape selection, preserve the natural concentration of aromas and flavors, creating a vibrant and expressive wine. Gentle pressing and cool fermentation further enhance the grape’s distinctive aromatics while shaping a refined yet characterful palate.

This Sauvignon Blanc is a true terroir wine, expressing both the unmistakable character of the variety and the unique qualities bestowed by the vineyards of Transcarpathia and the craftsmanship of the Château Chizay winemaking team.

Serve well chilled at 8–10°C.

An excellent companion to light dishes that complement its freshness, including seafood, white fish, green salads with citrus dressing and avocado, young soft cheeses, chicken or turkey with herbs or lemon sauce, and grilled vegetables. During asparagus season, it becomes an especially remarkable pairing, as Sauvignon Blanc is one of the few wine varieties that matches asparagus beautifully.
