Ice Wine (Eiswein) is a naturally sweet wine made from Riesling grapes harvested after being naturally frozen on the vine. Late harvest, ideal weather conditions, a touch of luck in the vineyard, and exceptional winemaking expertise — only when all these factors come together can Ice Wine be created, making it a rare wine produced no more than once every three years.

The grapes are left to shrivel on the vine and are harvested only after temperatures drop below freezing. The freezing process turns the water inside the grapes into ice, leaving behind a highly concentrated juice rich in sugars, acids, and aromatic compounds.
