Chateau Chizay

This wine is created from autochthonous Chersegi Fuszeres grape, which grows in Ukraine at Chateau Chizay vineyards only. Its rich bouquet is full of aromas of flowers and summer fruits. The taste of the wine is bright, fruity and spicy, with delicate bitterness, apricot tones and refreshing acidity.

A refreshing rose wine made from Pinot Noir grapes. The color of the wine is delicate, pale pink. Aroma with notes of ripe strawberries, raspberries, cherries and hints of citrus. Light and harmonious wine, with a pleasant refreshing acidity and tones of red berries in taste. We are proud that the Rosé by Chateau Chizay has been recognized as the best of Rose wine in Ukraine for several years onwards.

The harmonious semi-sweet red wine from Ukrainian wine region of Zakarpattia, with a berry aroma and a smooth taste.

We make this wine from Riesling Italian grapes. You could find tones of white flowers and a green apple with light notes of spices and citrus in the aroma of this wine. Taste is refreshing, combining fruit and mineral shades with spicy sourness.

Sauvignon Blanc grapes are harvested at the beginning of the season at dawn so that the wine absorbs all the freshness of the juicy berries. Light, crispy and thin.

Muskotaly wine made from Muscat Ottonel grapes grown in the vineyards of Chateau Chizay. This is a bright, harmonious wine with a sweet aroma of white flowers and fruits. Flavor- pleasant, balanced, with fruity notes and moderate acidity.

Gewurztraminer vine feels very well in our Mala Hora Plantation in Carpathian region. Our Gewürztraminer has elegant tones of exotic fruits, flowers and spices in aroma. The taste of wine is harmonious and refreshing, with notes of spices and roses.

Chateau Chizay MOSCATO semi-sweet white kosher wine is made from Muscat Ottonel grape variety, grown in Chateau Chizay vineyards. It has a special and extremely pleasant fruity-floral aroma with light tones of spices. The amazing taste of Moscato wine is characterized by a delicate tingling of tiny bubbles and has a wonderful balance between refreshing acidity and sweet fruity notes.

Light, semi-dry Pinot Blanc wine is filled with fruit aromas with notes of apple and pear. The refreshing acidity is perfectly balanced with the sweetish shades of ripe fruit in taste.

The wine is created from one of the most famous Central European grape variety Blaufrankisch, which we grow in our vineyards in Transcarpathia. It is a bright ruby wine with a pronounced fruity character. The aroma is complex, with tones of violet, black currant, cherry, blackberry and light shades of spices. The taste of the wine is mild, with delicate tannins, notes of red fruit, dark berries and ripe plums, which ends with a long juicy aftertaste

This semi-dry red wine is created from Merlot grape variety. The wine is well balanced, it has delicate and soft, fruity and spicy flavor. Both professionals and other wine lovers would enjoy this universal red wine.

Semi-sweet red wine is created from selected grapes of the same called grape variety Pinot Noir from the southern parts of Chateau Chizay vineyards. The color of the wine is beautiful garnet, the aroma is bright with hints of dark and red berries. A pleasant, slightly tart, berry flavor with hints of cherry and raspberry ends with a long and harmonious taste.

The wine is made from aromatic grapes of Traminer. Bright amber color, rich aroma of tea rose and full harmonious taste together form an unrivaled range of sensations and pleasure from tasting this special wine.

Bastardo is made from carefully selected grapes, grown in the special microclimatic zone of Chateau Chizay vineyards. The wine is a dark garnet color with a complex piquant bouquet in which tones of creamy chocolate are recognized. The taste is full, soft with light shades of coffee and notes of berry jam.

Sweet red wine Kagor is created from a blend of red wines in Chateau Chizay. History of Kagor wine is going back to 17^th  century when red wine Kahors was ordered in France for the needs of Orthodox church. This is a special wine of dark garnet color with a bright aroma of black berry jam. You will enjoy its fullness, richness and harmonious refined taste with tones of prunes and black currants
