The exquisite Cabernet Franc from the Chateau Chizay collection is crafted from selected grapes harvested in 2018 from their own vineyards in Zakarpattia. In 2022, the Cabernet Franc wine received a Silver Medal at the prestigious Decanter World Wine Awards (92 points out of 100).

The wine has been aged for 18 months in French oak barrels and further matured in bottles.

Its color is a medium-depth purple with light ruby reflections.

The aroma is intense, with distinct berry notes, especially cherry, complemented by hints of plum and leather acquired from aging in French barrels.

The taste of the wine is well-balanced and structured. The bitterness of the velvety tannins is barely perceptible, making it enjoyable to drink on its own. It also pairs wonderfully with grilled poultry or roasted pork, or uniquely with a focus on local flavors, such as tasting it with the legendary shovdar (the Zakarpattian equivalent of Spanish jamón).
