Aged dry blend Cuvée from the most treasured collection of Chateau Chizay – Founder\`s Reserve. This wine is a blend of the world-renowned varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Pinot Noir. Harvested in 2018 – an exceptional year for red grape ripening in Zakarpattia. For this collector’s wine, we selected the finest vineyard plots in the Mala Hora microzone with perfect sun exposure and performed careful hand-picking of the grapes.

Cuvée is a masterful combination of three single-varietal wines, each vinified and aged separately. Before blending, the wines spent 24 months in oak, then 52 months aging in the bottle. This extended bottle aging added complexity and harmony to the taste.

Limited edition of just 499 bottles.

The wine offers an intense aroma of ripe red and black berries, complemented by spicy and vanilla notes from two years in oak barriques. Subtle hints of pepper, cocoa, and tobacco add depth.

The palate is rich, with flavors of plum, blackcurrant, and cherry, balanced acidity, and velvety tannins.

Cuvée pairs beautifully with red meats, game, and aged cheeses. It also complements the local Zakarpattia cuisine perfectly: spicy sausages (especially grilled), and steak from Mangalica – a local free-range pig breed.
